Meet Lydia Harman, Your Realtor:

In the art of bringing buyers and sellers together in real estate for a fee, Lydia’s professionalism, talents and expertise have helped her to assist consumers in bringing their transactions from inception to a fruitful conclusion. Due to this and her WILL DO attitude, Lydia has developed a strong following of buyers and sellers who appreciate her personal touch, business savvy and broad life experience. As the Principle Broker for Harman Real Estate LLC, Lydia wants you to feel that your desires have been heard, your needs addressed, and your expectations met with every transaction.
 
Born in Concord, Lydia had the opportunity to grow up in central and southern New Hampshire surrounded by family and friends. This wonderful beginning has continued to influence to Lydia’s life and success as a wife, mother, and real estate professional. A native of New Hampshire, Lydia revels in the unique community spirit and personal freedoms which she has enjoyed and witnessed throughout her life and that sets the GraniteState apart.
 
Lydia earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Administration from New England College based in Henniker, New Hampshire. She had the rare opportunity to study on the former British Campus in Arundel, England for more than half of her college career. One the Arundel Campus is where Lydia met her husband, also a native of New England. They married just after college.
 
Proud of her New Hampshire and American heritage, Lydia felt a patriotic duty to train and serve in the United States Army Reserve, as a Medic. The 368th Engineers was her HQ Battalion. Lydia was able to do most of her service here in New Hampshire, caring for the soldiers who worked on such projects as the Candia Athletic Fields. In Gagetown, Canada she facilitated activities at the Battalion Aid Station serving over 650 soldiers and was supported by the Concord based National Guard “Dust Off” Medevac team.
 
Through Toastmasters International community service projects Lydia has been able to provide to businesses and organizations a gratis opportunity to have staff members master basic oral presentation skills through the Speechcraft program. Lydia also coordinated Junior Youth Leadership programs aimed at introducing leadership roles and basic public speaking skills to youth. These programs, which are designed to educate and encourage both youth and adults to speak comfortably in front of groups, have been among Lydia’s most favorite endeavors.
 
Lydia met three of her 5 children as a result of directing a summer hosting program for Russian orphans in 2001 in NH. Visiting orphans stayed with families and attended day camps. Lydia and her husband, Aaron, proceeded with the adoptions of 3 adolescent siblings. Twelve days after the adoptions were completed Lydia gave birth to their 4th child. Since that time 2 of their children have begun living on their own and Lydia has given birth to their 5th child.
 
Real estate is 100% about people! Lydia loves people and is grateful for all the clients she has had the pleasure to assist in achieving their goals in the real estate. Yes, real property is the commodity of real estate; yet, even once the right land parcel, investment property, commercial site or primary residence is found, the transaction is always about the people.
